This sketch card was part of a deluxe limited edition package for the "Red Label" hardcover release from IDW that collected issues 1-5 of their Mars Attacks: Attack from Space comics. The Red Label version was limited to a 250 copy print run.
NAR! was widely considered one of the most talented sketch card artists during the height of the sketch card market. This card is an excellent example of the bold colors, insane details, intricate line work, and comic art sensibilities that he brought to all his sketch cards. Truly stretches the idea of what a "sketch" can be.
This was the most striking pieces of original art I've owned and I very much wish I had hung onto it.
